Application Functions

When you create an Application, ClearTrust SecureControl automatically creates the default Application Function , ACCESS, which allows access to all URIs within the Application for all Users who may access the Application. It is possible to create a more complex granular authorization using other Application Functions. In order to take advantage of this functionality, your software developer must use the ClearTrust SecureControl API to create custom Application Functions that define security policy for more than simple access.

This section assumes your organization is using the ClearTrust API to create custom Application Functions. Once those Application Functions have been created in the API, they must be defined using the Entitlements Manager.
