User Accounts

This section tells you how to create, modify, and delete User Accounts (" Users "). To access any ClearTrust protected resource, a user must have a ClearTrust SecureControl User Account. Access control will be based either on the User's Fixed Attributes (for Basic Entitlements ) or custom attributes ( User Property , for Smart Rules ).

Important: If you are going to control access via Smart Rules, you should define the appropriate User Properties before creating any Users.
